About Us

Providing tailored, individualised support, delivered by an experienced team with a passion for doing things differently in a way that suits you.

Our story

At Venelle we recognised a simple, yet fundamental fact.

People want to continue living in the comfort of their own home for as long as it’s feasible and safe to do so.

So, we asked ourselves, what can we do to help people continue to live the life they want to live for as long as possible?

And this is how Venelle was formed. We’re founded on the principle of making that happen, and our services have been moulded accordingly.

With a team built on decades of care experience, married with an understanding and appreciation of individual lifestyles, we celebrate people’s differences.

We don’t subscribe to the conveyor belt method of care. Our approach is all about the individual and their individual needs, preferences and choices.

Focused entirely on you, we support you in continuing to live your life the way you want to live it.

Providing meaningful care

At Venelle, our emphasis is on your lifestyle and a complementary and discrete approach that doesn’t compromise the way you want to live. We build our support around you and the things you want to do, empowering you with choice at all times.

Louise Blezzard – Founder & CEO

Our founder, Louise, is recognised as a transformational change leader with more than a decade’s experience of working in the health and social care sector.

With a long-standing passion for delivering exceptional care, Louise benefits from a unique clinical, compliance and commercial background.

Her extensive experience encompasses time as a CQC inspector as well as being Group Director of Wellbeing & Membership at Loveday, meaning she has in-depth experience of managing the application of high-quality care.

A natural people person with strong interpersonal skills, Louise’s empathetic nature has helped shape Venelle’s core person-centric values.

  • Louise’s capabilities centre on business process improvement, change management, good clinical practice (GCP), regulatory compliance, and operational delivery.

Her career in the healthcare sector began with a nursing degree, which saw her work as a nurse and ward sister in the NHS before Louise seized the opportunity to transition into a care management role. Operating as a registered manager and an operational manager, Louise then moved on to work directly for the CQC as an inspector, something that gave her a unique and wide-ranging insight into the workings of well-run homes.

Wanting to get back into a care management role full time, Louise joined leading luxury care group Loveday as a general manager before stepping up to the senior leadership team as Group Director of Wellbeing and Membership.

Her extensive practical experience has been supplemented by additional academic rigour in the form of a Master's degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Surrey – with Louise applying high level theory to her day-to-day, something that’s helped her achieve ratings of Outstanding across four of her last five CQC assessments.
